The bed was so comfortable. It was like sleeping on a cloud. The pillows were so nice I wanted to steal them. The room was spacious and clean. We didn’t have washcloths in the bathroom, which was weird. The rooms feel a little outdated. They aren’t super modern-looking. But they are big and comfortable, which matters to me.

Rooftop hot tub. Need I say more? Well, I will anyway. There was also an indoor pool. Since we were traveling internationally, we didn’t bring our pup, but several other guests with their furry friends were there. There is an on-site spa and a fitness center.

I never work out on vacation, but the fitness center was nice if that’s your thing. I almost always visit the spa, but there were too many other things on my to-do list this time. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn’t very strong, so I struggled to finish any work. That was a little inconvenient.

We only ate there for breakfast. We had soft-boiled eggs, cheese, and cured meats. Delicious! The bar was open until around 1 a.m., so we stopped for a nightcap.

The Sheraton Carlton welcomes pets to enhance the stay further, ensuring the entire family enjoys the vacation. While service animals are gladly accommodated, the property does not offer babysitting services.

This hotel did not blow my mind or anything. However, I will have to say that the location was the best part. It is so close to everything in Nuremberg. You can walk to a lot of things. The bus and train station are right there, so even places further away were easy to get to.
