Since pristine waters surround this resort, you’ll want to take advantage of the included activities, like paddleboarding, kayaking, and scuba diving.

You can borrow snorkel equipment from the resort and explore the underwater ecosystem. It features the first two-level infinity pool so you can swim from the resort out into the beautiful blue waters of the Spanish Water Lagoon.

When you’re hungry, you can take advantage of any of the nine on-site restaurants – eight are exclusive to this resort only.

There’s even a floating restaurant for a memorable experience. Each restaurant has star chefs making Caribbean, Creole, Dutch, and Latin cuisine so you can try something new with every meal.

Montego Bay

Sandals Montego Bay, located in Montego Bay, Jamaica, was the first resort the brand ever opened. There are now five other resorts in Jamaica, and booking at Montego Bay allows you access to restaurants at another resort.

That means you have 21 places to choose from 12 at the Montego Bay resort and nine at the nearby Royal Caribbean.

If you don’t want to sit for a full meal, you can stop at any bar, including the swim-up bars and traditional pubs, to get a drink – or several!

Remember, Sandals will cover everything when you book your stay, so you don’t have to carry cash or credit cards.

Royal Caribbean

The Royal Caribbean resort is also in Montego Bay, Jamaica, so you get the benefits of the nine on-site restaurants and the 12 at Montego Bay. Even if you don’t want a meal, you can grab snacks, brunch, drinks, or coffee from many places in the resort. 

Rooms at the Royal Caribbean are affordable, with rates such as:

Royal Caribbean offers the same water activities as its Montego Bay neighbor, with the added benefit of visiting a nearby private island. Take a short boat ride to spend time on the private beach, eat at one of two restaurants, and experience the nightlife.

Even at the resort, you can find something fun and exciting to do every night. There’s an amphitheater for live shows and music, and bands play in various locations around the Royal Caribbean.

Negril

This Sandals resort is in Negril, Jamaica, on a seven-mile stretch of white sand. When you book a stay here, you’re supporting Sandals’ commitment to the environment; they’ve earned an EarthCheck Double Platinum Certification for how they run this property.

When you’re hungry, your reservation allows you to eat at any (or all!) of the seven restaurants on the property.

As with other Sandals resorts, you can take advantage of your vacation time to get scuba certified in some of the most beautiful waters on earth. There are coral reefs and shipwrecks to explore just off the coast of Negril.

Ochi

Ochi is one of the cheapest Sandals resorts, but that doesn’t mean you’ll miss out on the amenities offered by the higher-priced options.

This resort is in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and provides fun nightlife when you want to be social or the opportunity for total privacy.

A Sandals Luxury room at Ochi starts at $230 per night. To level up your stay, consider booking other types of suites, such as:

This cost includes all meals, snacks, and drinks on-site, freeing you and your partner up to enjoy the experience without thinking about money. Since all-inclusive also applies to your room, you can take advantage of those stocked bars as well.

Many fun activities come with your reservation, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and necessary equipment.

At Ochi, there’s a beach club, 11 bars, and 16 restaurants. You can visit the Sandals Golf and Country Club for fun daytime activities or simply explore the 100 acres of lush flowers and plants.

Royal Plantation

The Royal Plantation resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is one of the most upscale properties Sandals has to offer. Every room here is a suite, and butler service comes with every reservation.

With that in mind, it’s understandable that Royal Plantation only has Love Nest Luxury Suites and Butler Elite packages available. The reservations start at $350 a night.

There are five restaurants at Royal Plantation, in the spirit of keeping the resort small and romantic.

However, if you want to try something that isn’t offered at this resort, you don’t need to find an off-site restaurant and pay for a meal out.

You can visit the nearby Sandals Ochi and take advantage of the 16 restaurant options there.

Royal Plantation watersports include the unique aqua trikes, which allow you and your partner to drive through the beach’s shallow waters.

You can also get out in the water by windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, or scuba diving. All necessary equipment comes with your reservation, and you get personal instruction as well.

Royal Bahamian

Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas, is a new resort with ten restaurants, two huge pools, and two separate beaches. Your room rates cover all food and drinks, as well as access to all of the resort’s activities.

You can enjoy everything this resort has to offer when you reserve a room, choosing from Royal Bahamian’s four options:

  • Sandals Luxury, starting at $360 a night
  • Club Sandals, starting at $350 a night
  • Butler Elite and Love Nest Luxury Suites, starting at $535 a night

These fees include the opportunity to visit Sandals Barefoot Cay, a private offshore island just five minutes away by boat.

It offers a seafood restaurant, nightlife entertainment, a swimming pool, and a private beach. While Royal Bahamian has more than enough to keep you busy, sometimes a vacation within a vacation feels like the height of luxury.

Emerald Bay

The Emerald Bay Sandals resort is on 500 acres of tropical beauty in Great Exuma, Bahamas. One of the biggest attractions at this resort is the half-acre pool with a fire pit in the middle. However, you’ll also enjoy activities like scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing, and golfing.

Your room cost includes the price of these activities, as well as the necessary equipment. At Emerald Bay, you can have a great stay at these rates:

Regency La Toc

This Sandals resort is in Castries, Saint Lucia. Regency La Toc covers 220 acres of a crescent-shaped beach, giving your extraordinary views regardless of where you stay in the resort. You can choose different views from rooms such as:

  • Club Sandals, starting at $305 a night
  • Butler Elite and Love Nest Luxury Suites, starting at $450 a night

This property has nine restaurants offering cuisines from the Caribbean, England, Far East, France, and Italy.

But your room reservation also gives you access to restaurants at the Grande St. Lucian and Halcyon Beach resorts, giving you 27 eateries to choose from. 

Golfing and scuba diving are popular activities at Regency La Toc, and you don’t need to bring any of your own equipment.

All activities, equipment, and professional instruction come with your reservation. You can also play games and sports and take in shows and music at night.

Grande St. Lucian

Set on a mile-long beach, you’ll also get stunning views of volcanic mountains in the distance.

Sandals’ third Saint Lucia resort is Halcyon Beach in Castries. As with the other Saint Lucia properties, you can visit each resort and take advantage of fine dining from 27 restaurants.

Grande Antigua is on Dickenson Bay in Antigua and offers two distinct experiences. You can go from the Caribbean Beachfront Village to the Mediterranean Oceanview Village. The restaurants are appropriately-themed, offering Italian, Caribbean, and Asian cuisine.
