The 327-room lodge stands just steps from the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park at an elevation of 7,365 feet. Its soaring log-and-stone lobby, designed by architect Robert Reamer, rises 76 feet above the ground floor. The inn operates seasonally from May through October and offers a dining room, snack bar, gift shop, and a Bear Pit Lounge. Rooms range from original rustic quarters without private baths to renovated suites with modern amenities.
