About Germany’s Iconic Landscapes
Germany is a stunning country with so much to offer tourists. There are many picturesque places to visit in Germany, but some of the most popular include the Black Forest, the Romantic Road, and the Bavarian Alps. Not to mention the fact that this country has some outstanding city destinations such as Berlin, Munich, and Cologne.
The Black Forest is a dense forest located in southwestern Germany. The forest is known for its dark coloration, which is a result of the high density of trees.
The Romantic Road is a scenic route that runs through some of the most beautiful countrysides in Germany. The route takes travelers through small towns and villages, past castles and ruins, and through rolling hills and valleys.

For a taste of the outdoors, head to Englischer Garten, one of Europe’s largest urban parks. Spread out over 910 acres, the park is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a vigorous hike, and also contains several beer gardens where you can relax with a refreshing pint.
No trip to Munich would be complete without admiring the city’s grandiose architecture, and there is no better place to do this than at the Residenz, the former royal palace of the Wittelsbach dynasty.
